    The Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl are excited to offer an exceptional internship opportunity! We deliver internship experience focused on educational and practical activities across a variety of amateur and professional sports in a vibrant city.

    Interns will have the opportunity for cross-functional exposure in Events & Operations, Marketing & Communications, and Development.

  • THREE different internship positions

    EVENTS & OPERATIONS

    All internships will be inter-departmental to allow for a well-rounded intern experience. There will be events & operations opportunities such as:

    • Have active role in event day execution and management of member events and large events, including the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament and St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series
    • Assist with recruiting and overseeing ball crew volunteers for the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament
    • Assist with recruiting groups to volunteer for water stations for the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series
    • Assist with the overall strategy of NSC events by assisting with bids, site visits, research etc.
    • Attend site visits and planning meetings with staff
    • Assist with the volunteer program, including recruitment, training and on-site management.
    • Assist with membership and ticket renewal calls, as needed.
    • Execute projects, assignments, and general administrative duties as assigned by staff
    • Other duties for Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl as required

    MARKETING & DIGITAL MEDIA

    All internships will be inter-departmental to allow for a well-rounded intern experience. There will be marketing & communications opportunities such as:

    • Assist in creating dynamic digital content for social media, including photography, short-form video editing, and graphic design for the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, St. Jude Rock ’n’ Roll Running series and additional member events.
    • Support the development and management of social media calendars and platforms for NSC, MCB and partner events, helping drive engagement and awareness.
    • Analyze social media and marketing campaign performance to identify successes, trends, and areas for improvement to present actionable insights.
    • Design educational and insightful decks/presentations on social analytics, partner communications, campaign pitches and more.
    • Craft engaging weekly newsletters for member database to keep audiences informed and connected.
    • Maintain and analyze content and data for NSC and MCB websites, ensuring accuracy, usability, and optimized user experience.
    • Assist with marketing strategies through social media, e-marketing, and website promotion to support the growth of NSC and partner events.
    • Execute projects, assignments, and general administrative duties as assigned by the staff
    • Other duties for Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl as required

    strategic partnerships

    All internships will be inter-departmental to allow for a well-rounded intern experience. There will be strategic partnerships opportunities such as:

    • Assist with corporate and individual membership campaigns. This will include, but not limited to, phone calls, emails, and in-person/virtual meetings.
    • Assist with Music City Bowl gifting post-event.
    • Update GlueUp CRM database for membership program, events, etc.
    • Work on prospect list for new corporate members.
    • Assist with RSP Ticket Renewals for the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
    • Assist with the creation of sponsorship & membership decks, proposals, and contracts.
    • Collect and manage RSVPs for the member activities (i.e., Predators Face-Off Luncheon, Titans Kickoff Luncheon).
    • Assist with the collection of auction items from local/national businesses and sports teams to be included in our annual fundraiser and golf tournament.
    • Assist with planning and executing Member Events and Young Professionals Events.
    • Operational duties for Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl Events as assigned.
    • Assist with general administrative duties.
