Nashville Sports Council Membership Program

Be a Game Changer

The mission of the Nashville Sports Council is to positively impact the economy and quality of life of the Greater Nashville Area by attracting and promoting professional and amateur sporting events.

The organization is a private 501 (c)(6) non-profit, membership based organization that was established in 1992 to serve as the catalyst for developing Nashville’s sports landscape. From the U.S. Figure Skating Champions to the NCAA Women’s Final Four to SEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl and Country Music Marathon every year the sports council has a rich sporting events history. The sports council has successfully recruited and staged nearly 200 major sporting events that have yielded over $600 million in direct economic impact since its inception. Our members are one of the key sustained funding sources that has helped us achieve such success and are vital to our future.
