Nashville Sports Council Launches Inaugural Felicia Carol Wilt Scholarship

October 11, 2023

The Nashville Sports Council is proud to announce the establishment of the inaugural Felicia Carol Wilt Scholarship, an initiative aimed at recognizing and supporting the invaluable contributions of student volunteers within the local sports community.

The Felicia Carol Wilt Scholarship is named in honor of the late Felicia Carol Wilt, a passionate sports fan and dedicated volunteer who regularly volunteered at the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament, St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Running Series and the TransPerfect Music City Bowl among other events. It aims to celebrate the efforts of student volunteers who go above and beyond to make a positive impact at Nashville Sports Council events.

"We are thrilled to introduce the Felicia Carol Wilt Scholarship as a tribute to the remarkable contributions of student volunteers who work behind the scenes to ensure the success of our sports events," Scott Ramsey, President & CEO of the Nashville Sports Council said. "Volunteers are the backbone of our sports community, and through this scholarship, we aim to honor their dedication while also encouraging a continued spirit of service."

The Felicia Carol Wilt Scholarship will provide $500 in financial assistance to deserving student volunteers who have shown exceptional commitment, leadership and impact in supporting Sports Council events.
