NASHVILLE – Hundreds of Nashville Sports Council members packed The Cowan at Topgolf Nashville Thursday night for the council’s member rally presented by Cooper Steel.
Nashville Sports Council members were treated to food, drinks and a sneak preview of the Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball programs. New men’s head basketball coach Jerry Stackhouse, assistant women’s head coach Shereka Wright and deputy athletic director Candice Storey Lee were the featured speakers during the night’s event.
“Thanks to the continued support from Cooper Steel, we’re able to host these types of events,” Scott Ramsey, president of the Nashville Sports Council, said. “Vanderbilt fans and college basketball fans in general were able to get a glimpse into what’s happening on the West End before the season starts.
“It was a great evening for our members and the Nashville sports community as a whole.”
Prior to Thursday night’s panel discussion, Ramsey and NSC board chair Ed White presented Priscilla Tatarsky with the 2018-19 Volunteer of the Year award. Tatasrsky has volunteered at numerous NSC events and has been an ambassador in her community.
The next member rally is slated for Nov. 12 at the Noelle Hotel. Starting at just $50, you can become an investor in Nashville’s sports scene and enjoy these type of events as a member of the Nashville Sports Council. For more information on membership, visit nashvillesports.com/membership.
