The Nashville Sports Council, a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization, strives to positively impact the economy and quality of life of the Greater Nashville area by attracting and promoting professional and amateur sporting events. Our dedication to the community is grounded by the cornerstone of our members -- YOU.

Events we have hosted in the past, because of the direct support we receive from our members, include the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, the SEC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament's 2nd and 3rd Rounds, the Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon, and over 160  events in total. We also have a strong slate of events in the coming years, as we will continue to host the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, the NCAA Men's Basketball 2nd and 3rd Rounds, the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four, SEC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, and many more. Our members receive exclusive opportunities to be involved with all of these events.

Our members are truly the driving force of sports in Nashville. The Sports Council is a membership based non-profit organization, and would not be able to operate without the commitment provided by our members. Since the Sports Council's inception in 1992, we have provided Nashville with nearly half a billion dollars in direct economic impact, drawing in hundreds of thousands of visitors. Because of the support we receive from our members, we have been able to help Nashville grow. We hope we continue to receive this helping hand by our community members so we can help to continuously grow our community.
