The Pepsi Celebration of Champions presented by Kroger was created in 1999 and is Nashville’s premier sports awards event saluting amateur and professional sporting events in Middle Tennessee.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2012 nearly 1,000 people gathered at the Grand Ole Opry House to honor Middle Tennessee’s finest amateur and professional athletes, teams, and coaches! 

We recognized the most accomplished amateur and professional sports icons with awards such as the Sports Person of the Year, Community Spirit Award, Fred Russell Lifetime Achievement Award, Ed Temple Amateur Athletics, High School Athletics, Kaia Jergenson Courage, and the Sergeant York Trophy.  In addition, relive the thrill as we announce the Top Ten Sports Moments of the Year.
