10TH ANNUAL COMCAST SPOTLIGHT TITANS KICKOFF LUNCHEON

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher and select Tennessee Titans players will be the featured guests at the upcoming Comcast Spotlight Sports Speaker Series luncheon on Tuesday, September 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.
“The Annual Comcast Spotlight Titans Kickoff Luncheon signals another start of the football season in Middle Tennessee,” said Lisa Dean, General Manager of Comcast Spotlight Nashville. “This marks the 10th Anniversary of this unique event and we are excited about the chance to hear from Coach Fisher as he previews the upcoming year and introduces the players who will be in attendance.”
Coach Fisher will address the audience and a select group of Titans players will be in attendance. Coach Fisher will answer questions from the audience and speak about the Titans upcoming season, which will open just a few days following the luncheon vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Reese Smith Award, which is awarded annually to a Middle Tennessee individual who makes a difference in sports, will also be presented. The 2006 recipient of the award was Jack Lavender. Past award winners include Reggie Whittemore, Charles Hawkins, Teresa Phillips, June Stewart, Rick Byrd, and James “Boots” Donnelly. The Comcast Spotlight Champion Award, which recognizes an outstanding amateur athletic team for their excellence both on and off the playing field, will also be presented to a local high school or program.
