NASHVILLE SPORTS COUNCIL NAMES JIM MURPHY
AS ITS 2007-2008 CHAIRMAN
Nashville, TN. August 3, 2007 – Representatives of the Nashville Sports Council announced today its new leadership for the 2007-2008 fiscal year. The Board of Directors elected Jim Murphy of Boult Cummings Conners & Berry as Chairman. The board also named its new executive committee.
“The Nashville Sports Council continues to deliver incredible results for our community and makes a positive impact on our sports landscape,” said Jim Murphy, Chairman. “I’m excited to work with such a vital organization to Middle Tennessee and a very talented and diverse group of board members.”
The 70+ Board of Directors leads the Nashville Sports Council in its effort to recruit sporting events to Nashville. The 2007-2008 executive committee includes the following:

Finance Chair - Dan Hogan, Fifth Third Bank
