Comcast Spotlight Titans Luncheon to feature head coach Jeff Fisher

Nashville, Tenn. - Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher and select Tennessee Titans players will be the featured guests at the upcoming Comcast Spotlight Sports Speaker Series luncheon on Tuesday, September 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.
"The Annual Comcast Spotlight Titans Kickoff Luncheon means that the Titans football season is here," said Dave Carter, Area Vice President of Comcast Spotlight Nashville. "We're looking forward to Titans football and having another great event with Coach Fisher and the team to preview the 2006 season."
Coach Fisher will address the audience and a select group of Titans players will be in attendance. Coach Fisher will answer questions from the audience and speak about the Titans upcoming season, which will open just five days following the luncheon, September 10th vs. the Jets. The Reese Smith Award, which is awarded annually to a Middle Tennessee individual who makes a difference in sports, will also be presented. The 2005 recipient of the award was Reggie Whittemore. Past award winners include Charles Hawkins, Teresa Phillips, June Stewart, Rick Byrd, and James "Boots" Donnelly. The Comcast Spotlight Champion Award, which recognizes an outstanding amateur athletic team for their excellence both on and off the playing field, will also be presented to a local high school or program.
Guests (Non Sports Council Members) can attend for $30, which includes admission and lunch.
