• Why was the Nashville Sports CouncilCorporate Partner Program created?
The Sports CouncilCorporate Partner Program was created to provide the necessary funding to bid, secure, and host world-class sporting events for Middle Tennessee. In addition, theCorporate Partner Program was created to emphasize the importance sports in the Nashville community from an economic development and quality of life standpoint as well as involve area corporations with Nashville's sports agenda and the Sports Council's gameplan.
• What is the Sports Council's mission?
The mission of the Sports Council is to positively impact the community's economy and quality of life by attracting and promoting professional and amateur sports within the Middle Tennessee Area.
• Who are the Sports Council's Corporate Partners?
The Sports Council has a corporate membership base of corporations who have a common thread; a passion for the Middle Tennessee community and Nashville's ever evolving sports landscape. VisitNashvilleSports.com for a current list of our team!
• Can anyone become a corporate member and get involved?
Yes! Membership is available to any corporation regardless of employee or budget size. The Sports Council offers a package for both small and large corporations.
• What are the benefits of membership and theCorporate Partner Program?
Members receive fantastic and exclusive corporate membership benefits that provide a great return on their investment. Sports Council corporate membership benefits are a great way to take care of your customers, employees, and VIP's. Annual membership levels are $550, $1,100, $2,750, $5,500, $11,000, and $20,000. Benefit packages are structured accordingly.
• Who is the leadership behind the Sports Council?
The Sports Council has an active volunteer Board of Directors composed of business and community leaders who oversee the sporting event landscape on behalf of the Nashville community.
• Is the Sports Council a non-profit?
Yes! The Sports Council is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. Corporate membership dues are tax deductible as a business expense and help fund the Sports Council's key objectives, initiatives, which ultimately help the organization reach its goals. The Sports Council further operates the Nashville Sports Council Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 organization that directly supports amateur athletics.
• How does my company join the team andprovide Nashville with HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE?
Simply complete a membership application and send it to the Sports Council office. Memberships are valid for a full-year upon receipt of application. Furthermore, the Sports Council's fiscal year runs fromJuly to June.
