The 10th Annual O’Charley’s Dinner of Champions will take place March 12, 2008 at world-renowned Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, Delta A Ballroom.

The event includes a reception, a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia, a seated dinner and a dazzling video presentation.

The O’Charley’s Dinner of Champions, is known as Nashville’s premier sports awards event, honoring outstanding achievements in Middle Tennessee sports by individuals, teams and organizations.

Award categories for the 10th Annual O’Charley’s Dinner of Champions are as follows:

Fred Russell Lifetime Achievement Award

Volunteer of the Year

A rich tradition of past award winners includes Steve McNair, Vince Gill, Jeff Fisher, Darrell Waltrip, Vince Young, Chantelle Anderson, Fred Russell, Erron Kinney and Earl Bennett.

Each year, two outstanding male and female high school student-athletes receive scholarships for their academic and athletic achievements, and the evening is capped off with the unveiling of the Top 10 Sports Moments of the Year as selected by a panel of media.

The big winner of the evening is the Nashville Sports Council’s Good Sports Program, which uses the proceeds from the event to provide scholarships and grants throughout the year to deserving amateur athletes and athletic organizations.
