Gary Karl Alexander

Senior Vice President & COO

Gary serves as the Senior Vice President & COO for both the Nashville Sports Council and the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, where his primary duties include day-to-day office administration and support for the Marketing and Events departments for both companies.

Gary has been in the sports industry a long time, having worked for both the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics, the governing body for gymnastics in the United States.  Gary is a former board member for the National Association of Sports Commissions.

His Bachelor of Arts degree comes from Arizona State University. While attending ASU, he was named a four-time All-American in Men's Gymnastics and later was inducted in the ASU Sports Hall of Fame. He was a gymnastics judge in Barcelona for the 1992 Olympic Games and is a member of the National Gymnastics Judges Association Hall of Fame. Gary also holds a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Colorado.
