2008 Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon
April 26 – Downtown Nashville
Over 25,000 runners will hit the streets of Nashville for the annual Country Music Marathon & _ Marathon.  Over 4,000 volunteers are needed to assist at the Health & Fitness Expo at the Nashville Convention Center, at the Start & Finish line areas on race day, and groups are needed to staff the 21 water stations located throughout the race course.  To volunteer, click here or please call the volunteer hotline at 615-743-3137 or visit www.cmmarathon.com.

 2008 Music City Hits
June 11-15 – Drakes Creek Park, Hendersonville
The Southeast’s premier fastpitch college exposure softball tournament, the 4th annual Music City Hits Fastpitch Softball Tournament will take place June 11-15 at Drakes Creek Recreation Center in Hendersonville.  Join 66 of the best amateur softball teams in the country as they compete in this weeklong event.  In addition, the Tennessee High School All-Star Game will be held during this year’s event.  Volunteers are needed to assist with ticket taking, hospitality, and score keeping.

2008 SEC/BIG EAST INVITATIONAL
December 16 – Sommet Center
Nashville will be the host site for the 2008 SEC/BIG EAST Invitational.  Vanderbilt will take on South Florida and Tennessee will square off against Marquette in this men’s basketball doubleheader.  Volunteer information will be available in the summer of 2008.

2008 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl

Nashville’s Holiday Tradition, the 11th annual Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, will take place in late December.  The game feature two of the best football conferences in the country, the SEC and the ACC.  Volunteers are needed for on-call driving, hospitality, media hospitality, Champs Youth Football Ceremony, Game Day Surveys, Pre-Game Tailgate Party, and other Bowl Week activities.
