OUR ECONOMIC IMPACT

The mission of the Nashville Sports Council is to positively impact the economy and quality of life of the Greater Nashville Area by attracting and promoting professional and amateur sporting events

The Nashville Sports Council has hosted more than 140 events since 1992.
Since then, the Nashville Sports Council has produced nearly $400,000,000 in total economic impact for the city of Nashville.

Note:  These are direct numbers. No multipliers are used. The economic impact numbers are produced through the Nashville Sports Council’s "Scorecard” which measures the tangible progress toward the consistent achievement of the Nashville Sports Council mission.  The “Scorecard” measures economic impact, involvement, media exposure, performance rating, and financials from each event recruited and hosted by the Nashville Sports Council.

The Nashville Sports Council is the Driving Force behind economic development through sports for Middle Tennessee.
